***PRESENTATION NIGHT THIS FRIDAY 27 JANUARY***

Don't forget this Friday night is the Southport Netball Club annual Presentation Night. The celebrations start at 7.30 at Southport Rugby Club, Waterloo Road, Hillside, Southport. 

All members and their families are welcome. Tickets are priced at £5, buy at training or pay on the door.

There will be presentations for all teams and a review of the 2010-11 season for all teams and players along with a buffet and dancing until late!

We have secured some great raffle prizes as well so come along and support your club.

Seniors celebrate unbeaten first half to season

The senior team hit the town to celebrate an unbeaten first half of the season in the Liverpool League.

At the halfway point Southport are six points clear after winning the top of the table clash with fellow promotion hopefuls Greenbank. Hopefully the team can continue their winning form into the new year to gain promotion and bring Southport back into the first division.

Umpiring Course

Merseyside are running a C Award Umpiring Course on 5 November at Wirral Grammar School. If anyone members are interested in going on this course please let Nina know by emailing southportnetball@yahoo.co.uk by no later than 21 October.

Rock of Ages!!

A rocking time was had by all at our fundraiser on Saturday. The theme was Rock of Ages and the awesome costumes can be seen here.

Thanks to everyone who made the event happen, particularly The Prohibition for their excellent music. Steve is also available for weddings and parties following his guest appearance on stage!
