Seniors reach semi finals of Bebington NC Tournament

The Seniors put in a great performance at their first tournament of the summer. The Bebington Netball Club hosted 24 teams from all over Wirral, Merseyside and North Wales. Southport were drawn in arguably the toughest group with Unilever and Dolphin, top teams from the Birkenhead League and Stanley Park from the Liverpool League.


The squad of Faye Speed, Azell Bartells, Jessica Dale, Nina Dawson, Kerry Huyton, Lizzie Barnett, Kirsty Mahony, Jade Robinson and Jo Makin fought hard in their group games to win all of their games and finish top of their group. In the semi final they were pipped by Taurus who took the game 9-8 to make it into the final against Merseyside Police.
