Southport raced into the lead with Stanley failing to score for the first five minutes of the game and finished the first half leading 17-5 thanks to some great shooting by Kirsty (who won player of the match) and Louise on her return to action after an extended holiday.
In the second half the defensive duo of Lauren and Azell was simply too strong for Stanley and some great connecting play by Faye, Kerry and Nina in the centre court saw Southport pull further ahead to take the game 38-12. The seniors are now looking foward to playin in the top flight again next season.
